I first saw this piece in 1998 in Santa Rosa Ca as an 18 year old metal head guitar player and it absolutely rekt me. I had to wait for the interwebs to blossom in order to find it again a half a decade or more later, but for a guy that never gave a single fook about ballet or modern dance, Jiri's art is a lifelong joy I get to have that the rest of the world, for the most part, will never comprehend. Thanks bro, nicely done!

My friend and I saw got to see Hubbard Street Dance at the Joyce Theater, stellar dancing from beginning to end, but this choreography touched us particularly, it was so, so very beautiful. So many layers of meaning and emotion, perfectly expressed by the three dancers. If only it could be filmed and made accessible online, I would love to see it again with this interview in mind. Many thanks to Rena Butler and to all the company for an incredible experience!

This is not Hip Hop dance This is not contemporary This is House Dance , specifically from NYC Because its creates from a culture..and has its own vocabulary. its important this name is used . While Institutions are looking to expand their repertoire, itself language and names can't be erased when they borrow from this artforms. Congratulations to all involved

Mas exactamente en la ciudad de Córdoba. Fue Maravillosa. Todavía conservo el programa de esa función. Todos los bailarines "Fabulosos". Very good!!!. Beautiful. I had the opportunity to see this fabulous company for the first time in my life on a tour they did in Argentina if I remember correctly in 1985 or 1986. More exactly in the city of Córdoba. It was wonderful. I still have the program of that function. All "Fabulous" dancers.
